Casting Details:
- Role: Rosie (Voice-Over Role)
- Character Age: 14 years old
- Gender: Female
- Ethnicity: South Asian
- Hearing: Hard of Hearing
- Accent: American Accent
- Special Requirement: Must be a real-life South Asian girl who is Hard of Hearing.
- Voice Age: Can be between 14 to 22 years old, but must sound 14. Candidates aged 18+ can apply as long as they can sound genuinely 14.
Character Background:
- Rosie is a friendly neighbour who interacts with a new family in her building. She is portrayed as outgoing and energetic.
- Small supporting role: Rosie appears in two scenes.
Note:
- Rosie does not use sign language but instead uses spoken dialogue while wearing assistive hearing devices like a Cochlear implant or a hearing aid.
- The casting team is seeking authenticity for this role, so the actor must be both South Asian and Hard of Hearing.
