Video Editor for Long-Term Collaboration Needed
We are excited to share an opportunity for a talented video editor to join our team on a long-term project. We’re looking for someone who can help us create compelling video content from research footage.
Key Details:
- Role: Video Editor
- Duration: Long-term (up to 20 hours per week, for approximately 12-24 weeks)
- Location: Remote (first 2 weeks), not in Delhi
- Tool: Descript (access will be provided)

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with remote team members to edit video footage generated during research sessions into concise and impactful video reels.
- Use Descript, a cloud-based tool, to allow team members to leave comments and highlight specific portions of the videos.
- Assist in creating new types of video deliverables and managing video projects across various efforts.
- Build a catalogue of the best clips from extensive footage to ensure valuable insights are well-organized and easily accessible.
- Conduct weekly sessions with the team to provide feedback and guidance on creating better short videos.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in video editing, with a portfolio showcasing your ability to create concise and contextually rich videos.
- Proficiency in using Descript or similar video editing tools.
- Strong storytelling skills to enhance the overall narrative of the videos.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and incorporate their feedback effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage and catalogue extensive video footage.
Compensation:
- Monthly package: ₹20,000 to ₹30,000
Additional Information:
- Ready to formalize our collaboration through a contract, starting with a 3-month term.
- NDAs to be signed as needed.
